Advanced One Day Training
This course is designed for more experienced users of the software
and those who have prior experience working with Markov models, Monte
Carlo simulations and sensitivity analysis. The Advanced Training
class is a more customized experience than our Standard Training class.
In Advanced Training, attendees are given a choice of topics to cover
and the class is tailored to meet their needs. At the beginning of
the training the instructor and participants select the topics of
most interest from the subjects listed in the course outline.
The Advanced Training covers the following topics:
- Markov Modeling
Half cycle correction, Tables, time-dependent probabilities, Multi-column
tables, subgroups, Tunnel states
- Semi-Markov Models
Using tracker variables, advanced programming of trackers, Logic
nodes
- Monte Carlo Simulation
Theory, C-E and ICE scatterplot, Acceptability curves
- Sensitivity Analysis
1-way C-E sensitivity, 2-way sensitivity analysis, sampling from
tables
- Dynamic Spreadsheet Linking
Linking to single values in Excel, Linking tables
- Other Topics:
Bootstrapping, TreeAge Pro Interactive, clones, Bayes' revision,
label nodes
The cost of the Advanced 1-day program is $1,050.00 per person, $795.00 for
academic, non-profit, and government organizations.
